Autumn is a Portland-based studio artist and art teacher. She has been working with clay for over 20 years. She studied at Southern Oregon University as an undergrad and got her Master’s of Fine Arts from Louisiana State University. Autumn has also been teaching private and group art classes at all levels for over 10 years.

Working with clay has felt natural from the very beginning for me. I strive to create vessels that are comfortable to hold, easy on the eyes, and of course perform the assigned task well. I truly get joy from watching individuals use and enjoy my work.

Functional ceramics fired in wood-kilns to temperatures exceeding 2400 degrees F. These pieces are truly special as each piece is glazed by the minerals and flames created by the wood-burning fuel.
